JAPANESE IMMIGRANTS/JAPANESE AMERICAN
BASEBALL
AND SOFTBALL IN COLORADO
EXHIBIT
Japanese Immigrants and Japanese Americans played baseball in Colorado beginning in the early 1900’s. This photo exhibit documents the growth of the game up to the 1970’s. Contributions of new information and photos keeps this project growing and evolving. To contribute, please use the form below.
Several JARCC members researched this history over an extended two-year period while former players gathered pictures, artifacts and shared many memories.
Following the completion of the exhibit using available resources, it was presented to the community at Simpson United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 8, 2016 (Click here to see video.) Currently, the exhibit is on display at the Sakura Square Mezzanine, 1255 19th Street.
The form below is also available for those requesting an appointment to view the entire exhibit.
